Katherine Elizabeth is a graphic design studio located in northern New Jersey serving customers all over the world. We specialize in luxury wedding invitations, but we also provide everything from Save the Dates, to Ceremony Programs, Dinner Menus, Seating Charts, Personal Stationery, Wedding Website design, and more.
Founded on the idea that wedding invitations & stationery shouldn't be conventional, mass-produced, or run-of-the-mill, we believe in giving wedding paper genuine personality and a luxurious feel. We believe that a wedding invitation sets the tone for the entire event, and it can have the power to tell a beautiful story.
We take the personality of a couple and the feel of their big day and translate it into heirloom-quality, luxury wedding invitations that not only speak to them but about them. We are looking for couples who don't settle for trends; who not only want to invite their guests but excite them.

Katie Rotio
owner and designer at Katherine Elizabeth Events
My career in the wedding and stationery business was sparked by my passion for design and a curiosity for graphic arts. I first started out working with my family and friends, creating unique wedding and shower invitations for their most important life events. I had so much fun doing it that I began to consider it as a possible career path. When my friends and family eventually convinced me to go into business, Katherine Elizabeth Events was born in one weekend, with the help of Etsy. From invitations, I eventually branched out to event stationery (programs, place cards, menus, thank you notes, etc.) so that my client’s wedding “branding” could be carried through their entire event.
After more than 12 years of working in this field, I now consider myself a bit of an expert in many aspects of wedding planning and design. I love to help clients bring their vision to life, and I find deep satisfaction knowing that when it comes to their wedding paper, we have truly dotted all the i’s and crossed all the t’s. I provide not only custom design, but also consultation on etiquette and logistics. I’m a bit obsessed with details, and I feel like I was made for this line of work.
In my free time, I am a mom and a wife; I enjoy dancing, cooking, golfing, theater, photography, and seeking out great bars, breweries, and eateries. I am originally from Boston and currently live with my husband and two daughters in northern New Jersey.

Our latest news
The time has finally come (after building my business for 12 years) where I have decided I am no longer paying to advertise on The Knot and Wedding Wire. Simply put, it’s incredibly expensive (about $2600 per year) and it doesn’t bring in enough business for it to be worth it. Here’s the inside scoop on why my business (and many others at the top of the industry) have left, and why you won’t find the best vendors there.
